Welcome to Ranchitos de Cummins Red Barn Family Farm. We are excited to share our adventures as new Alpaca farmers. We are also learning about small farming to support sustainability. Join us on our venture!
We have 10 Alpacas on our farm! We started with 3. Beethoven (m), Bella (f) and Princess (f) came to us in January. We learned so much from this small herd. In August 2022, Princess delivered our first cria. We named her Mozart. Our herd was just perfect. But our poor Beethoven was alone in a large field. So this December, we acquired Brownie (m), aka James Brown, Phoenix (m), Mistero (m) and our sweet shy Caramella (f). In March of 2023, Bella delivered our second Cria, Amadeus. Our third baby was delivered this past Father's Day. Princess gave birth to Papito in June of 2024. Here you will learn all about our Alpaca adventures.
In addition to our 10 alpacas, 18 chickens, and 4 dogs, we now have 2 African Sulcata Tortoises! A friend rehomed Gordy, our large turtle. A couple of weeks later, we found little Gusteau, aka Gus left inside our gate.
